Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized a heartwarming Diwali 2024 Celebration under its "Make A Wish For Slum & Street Children" Project. This program aimed to bring joy to 550 slum and street children across 20 different locations, ensuring that these underprivileged kids also experienced the essence of the Diwali festival. As part of the program, the children were gifted new festive attire such as sherwanis for boys and lehengas for girls, giving them the opportunity to celebrate Diwali in style and dignity.

The celebration didn’t stop there—firecrackers and sweets were distributed to every child, sparking excitement and laughter. To enhance their understanding of the festival, RSKS India team members also organized storytelling sessions explaining the significance of Diwali, its cultural values, and its importance in spreading light, happiness, and positivity. Feedback sessions were conducted with the parents of these children to assess the impact of the program. Parents expressed their heartfelt gratitude, sharing how the celebration brought immense happiness and pride to their children. This thoughtful initiative not only spread festive cheer but also strengthened the bond between RSKS India and the community.

The Diwali 2024 Celebration program had a profound and meaningful impact on the lives of the 550 slum and street children who participated. For many of these children, receiving new clothes, firecrackers, and sweets was an experience of sheer delight, something they had rarely, if ever, enjoyed before. The joy on their faces reflected a sense of belonging and inclusion, as they were able to celebrate Diwali just like other children. Parents shared that seeing their children dressed in festive clothes, bursting firecrackers, and relishing sweets filled them with immense joy and gratitude. Moreover, the program strengthened the connection between RSKS India and the community. The trust and appreciation expressed by the parents showed how impactful such initiatives are in uplifting marginalized communities. This Diwali program not only lit up the lives of these children but also brought hope, dignity, and a sense of equality, creating memories they will cherish for a lifetime.
