Kamaria started emailing our crisis advocates almost one year ago. She was desperate to come home to the USA with her daughter, Delphi, and get away from the abuse of her husband.
Continuing pandemic travel restrictions, and several other factors, made it impossible for Kamaria to escape. The best we could do was to provide Kamaria with safety planning and emotional support, while continuing to have things in place when the opportunity arose.
Finally, just last month, Kamaria and Delphi made it home safely. Here is part of an email from Kamaria. "You were a hand reaching out to me in the darkness. At times, the only thing that gave me hope..."
Your donations make it possible to continue to provide email advocacy to battered American mothers in foreign countries seeking any form of support to help ease the suffering of themselves and their children.
Thank you so very much!
