Angela knew she had to act when the abuse in Brazil escalated, making the difficult decision to leave everything behind to protect her son, Brent. With danger increasing and options limited, Angela felt she had nowhere to turn until she reached out to Pathways in a moment of urgency and fear.
Pathways worked with Angela for several weeks, provided crisis safety planning, coordinated complex international relocation, and ensured their safe return to the United States.
Today, Angela and Brent are living free from violence, beginning the process of rebuilding with stability and hope. Brent now has the chance to grow up in a safe environment, and Angela can focus on creating a future grounded in security. Because of your generosity, this family found a path out of danger and into safety.
