We usually see a slow down in September after the busy summer months when most battered American moms flee back home to the USA with their children. This year is different. We have had 18 new clients the first ten days of September and our case managers already have an on-going case load of 100 clients.
"I asked for help at the American Embassy and the consular officer there gave me your information. You have no idea the difference you made for me. Knowing you were there to support me gave me the strength I needed to flee back home to my parents house. I will never forget you!"
