PROJECT GOAL
To supply free primary healthcare services to people in vulnerable communities affected by the ongoing socio-political crises in the south-west region.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
RESULTS
1) Primary healthcare provisions
Total number of persons reached with services in primary health care 240 (121 males and 119 females). Of this 67, (36 males and 36 females were tested for malaria and 40 (22 males and 18 females) were diagnosed with simple malaria and treated. 20 persons ( 8 amales and 12 females) were treated for acute respiratory tract infections while 11 ( 4 males and 7 females) were treated for acute diarrhea.
2) Nutrition
75 children were assessed for SAM ( 41 males and 34 females) using MUAC tape. Number confirmed and treated for SAM (males and females).
3) Community Sensitization
426 persons sensitized on hand washing, water purification and preservation, waste disposal, malaria and proper use and installation of LLINS and menstrual hygiene education.
