By Francis Osisiogu | Project Leader
We are pleased to share progress on this life-changing project aimed at restoring hearing, learning opportunities, and confidence for 25 deaf or hard-of-hearing children from low-income families.
Financial Progress
Thanks to generous support, fundraising efforts are actively underway toward our $20,000 goal. Funds raised so far are being carefully allocated to priority needs including hearing assessments, procurement of quality hearing aids, batteries, and professional fitting services. Every contribution directly moves a child closer to receiving the support they urgently need.
Project Implementation Updates
Initial planning and coordination with licensed audiologists have begun, alongside identification of beneficiary children through community outreach. Supplier discussions for durable behind-the-ear hearing aids are also in progress to ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality.
Next Steps
As additional funding is secured, the next phase will include hearing screenings, device fittings, caregiver training, and follow-up therapy support. Our immediate priority remains closing the funding gap so implementation can proceed at full scale.
Looking Ahead
Each donation is an investment in communication, education, and inclusion. With continued support, 25 children will soon gain the chance to hear, learn, and participate fully in daily life.
