Since the early beginnings of Niños de Guatemala in 2007, nutritional support has been a constant element of the holistic approach to education we aim to give our students. Without proper meals, students cannot focus, perform academically, or develop physically. The daily balanced meal we prepare at school is served warm and is often the most complete meal of the day for all our students; it is also the first meal of the day for many of them. With the generous support of our donors, we have been able to provide a daily meal to our students for 242 days of the year, for over 15 years.
For 2023 we will serve close to 129,000 balanced warm meals for over 530 students.
