Dear Friends,
We are reaching out with a heartfelt update on our micro-loan program in Zimbabwe. While we’ve made meaningful strides, we find ourselves in a critical phase where slow donations have made it harder to continue supporting the entrepreneurs who rely on us.
The need for micro-loans in Zimbabwe remains immense. Many small business owners are struggling to stay afloat, especially in rural areas where access to financing is limited. Our program helps to fill that gap by providing low-interest loans to entrepreneurs, enabling them to grow their businesses, create jobs, and uplift their communities.
However, the lack of sufficient funding means we’ve been unable to offer loans to new applicants or expand support for existing recipients. Our goal is to fund 20 new loans in the coming months, but to do this, we need urgent support from donors like you.
Here’s how donations will directly address the issue:
Funds will go towards issuing loans to entrepreneurs who need capital to buy supplies, expand their businesses, or reach new markets.
We will increase loan amounts for successful entrepreneurs, enabling them to scale their businesses and create jobs.
Capacity-building will be a priority, as we will offer financial literacy programs to ensure businesses are not just sustained but able to thrive.
Your contribution today will help bridge the gap and provide crucial support to entrepreneurs striving for a better future. Every donation matters—no matter the size—and will directly help create opportunities for families and communities across Zimbabwe.
Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can create sustainable change and empower entrepreneurs to overcome the challenges they face.
With appreciation
Romesh
