Dear Friends and Supporters,
We write to share an update on our efforts to provide medical care for women displaced by conflict in Nigeria. Thanks to the generosity of early donors, we have begun preparing for this important work. However, we still require additional support to make the mobile clinics operational.
The humanitarian situation remains severe across northern Nigeria. Continuous violence has forced millions from their homes, with women and children bearing the heaviest burden. Displacement camps face acute shortages of medical staff and supplies, leaving women without proper care during pregnancies or for treating injuries and illnesses. Recent attacks have worsened conditions, pushing more families into already overcrowded camps with limited resources.
With the donations received so far, we have started gathering medical supplies and identifying trained personnel who can staff the mobile clinics. We are also documenting the specific health needs across different camps to ensure our services will meet the most urgent requirements.
Your continued support would allow us to deploy medical teams to multiple camps, providing direct care to women and children who currently have no access to treatment. Each contribution brings us closer to delivering essential health services where they are needed most.
We extend our sincere appreciation to those who have already contributed. For others considering support, please know that your involvement can change lives. We will provide further updates as we progress toward launching the mobile clinic program.
With gratitude,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
