As a result from the special campaign we did in the women´s month we were able to give a prosthesis to Ana Isabel. Ana Isabel was born without tibia and fibula. She is three years old and last month she received her second prostheses. Now, along with more than 5 other children that have received a prosthesis this year, she can walk again.
In order to keep raising funds to give colombian kids the opportunity to start over again we invite you to donate to our project in honour to the special women you wold like to honour in the mother's day. You can make a donation in honour of someone else and print the card at home or send it by post if you are in the United States. You will not only be surprising your mom, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter... But you will also be surprising the mother of one of our beneficiaries who always feel grateful when their children walk again.

Gracias a la camapaña que realizamos durante el mes de la mujer, pudimos entregarle una prótesis a Ana Isabel. Ana Isabel nació sin su tibia y peroné, tiene tres años y esta es la segunda prótesis que recibe de Mahavir Kmina. Hoy, junto con otros 5 niños más, Ana isabel puede volver a caminar.
Para seguir movilizando recursos para darles a los niños colombianos la oportunidad de empezar de nuevo, los invitamos a donar a nuestro proyecto a nombre de la mujer que deseen reconocer en el día de la madre. Pueden hacer una donación a nombre de otra persona en la opción "Give in honour of" del sitio web de nuestro proyecto en GlobalGiving, y enviar la tarjeta por e-mail, imprimirla o enviarla por correo postal si viven en Estados Unidos. De esta forma no sólo estarán sorprendiendo a la persona que decidas, sino también a una de las madres de nuestros beneficiarios, que se sienten muy agradecidas cuando sus niños caminan nuevamente.
