2012 was a great year for us thanks to your donations! Up till today Mahavir Kmina has been able to raise a total of USD 12.235 thanks to you and GlobalGiving. With the support of our board, we have been able to match every dollar mobilized by the platform, raising USD 24,470.
With the money we have raised so far, we have been able to install 24 prosthetic limbs to children in Colombia; this means more than half of our goal. This means 24 children that have the capability to walk again with your support.
Furthermore, Mahavid Kmina has not only provided the 24 children with the prosthesis they need to walk but we have also given them medical and psychosocial consultations that support the children’s adaptation and integral development.
We thank you again for your interest and support, and we hope can continue to count on your support to impact the lives of more children walk again!

¡El 2012 fue un gran año para nosotros gracias a sus donaciones! Hasta la fecha, Mahavir Kmina ha movilizado USD$ 12,235 gracias a ustedes y a Globalgiving. Además, con el apoyo de nuestra junta directiva, hemos podido dar una contrapartida del 50% a cada dólar movilizado en la plataforma, obteniendo un total de USD$ 24,470.
Con el dinero que hemos recaudado hasta ahora, hemos podido darles a 24 niños las prótesis que necesitan para poder volver a caminar. Llevamos más de la mitad de nuestra meta, todo esto, con tu apoyo.
Vale la pena resaltar que en Mahavir Kmina no solo hemos proveido a los niños con las prótesis sino que además les hemos dado las consultas médicas y psicosociales que necesitan para adaptarse y para tener un desarrollo integral.
Queremos agradecerles una vez más por su interés y apoyo, esperamos poder seguir contando con ustedes para mejorar la vida de muchísimos más niños para que puedan caminar otra vez.
