We are beyond grateful with our donors. Through your help we have given 29 people the opportunity to walk again! Children have been able to run, play, climb trees and live normal lives, gain independence and become active part of their communities. With your donations we have given each of this 29 people a new outlook on life and a brighter hope for their future.
Our beneficiaries have wonderful stories. Tales of courage, determination and above all, hope. Every day we meet incredible people, we witness how they overcomes impossible circumstances. Thanks to your donation Mahavir Kmina can help people recover not only their mobility but also their sense of worth.
We are so proud to share with you the story of Aleida. She is a beautiful and bright young woman, ronound amogher friends and family for her optimism and courage. When Aleida was 14, she lost her leg on a terrible accident, as a car was being towed by another the cable connecting both vehicles cut her leg bellow her knee.
Being the determined and brave person she is, Aleida continued working hard to overcome all obstacle and her dream was to get a technical education when she finished high school to provide a better life for her and her family.
Aleida had a prostheses done when she was 14, but as she grew, her prostetic leg was too small for her and she almost couldn't walk anymore. She sought the help of Mahavir Kmina so she could walk again and continue her personal development.
Little did she know that in Mahavir Kmina she would find more than her movility restored, one of our allies HMV Engineers heard about Aleida and her desire to study, and they desided to pay for her technical studies! Now Aleida has a new prostheses, she can walk again, go to school and build a better future for her and her family.
