Give prosthetics to low limbs amputees in Colombia

David is a sweet and happy preschooler from Medellín, Colombia, but at 6 years old and due to a rare genetic defect he has had to overcome more challenges than most at such a young age, but David, as his mother says “Is a superhero” and takes every challenge with a smile!

His rare genetic disorder prevented one of his legs and one of his arms to grow fully, leaving him unable to develop properly. The special care he required prevented David from entering preschool at the right age, so he is trying his best to catch up. Thanks to your generosity we were able to give David one amazing early Christmas present and he will be able to run and play, grab pencils, crayons and soccer ball and enter the first grade in no time!

With your support and our wonderful team of craftmen and our in-house ingeneer we gave David not only a new leg but a new arm complete with a new little hand! He says he feels like the super heroes he sees on TV and can't wait to show his new super power to his friends at preschool.

David's mother is beyond words, she says she has never been able to afford a protheses for her son let alone two! And this was the best present she and her family could receive, to see David playing and laughing full of confidence and feeling like he could overcome any obstacle is the most amazing gift.
