Give prosthetics to low limbs amputees in Colombia

The reach of our task has overcome every border. The benefits we give to children’s lives with our prosthetic legs have been heard in so many countries, for instance in Ecuador. Amy, a fourth year old gorgeous girl, came with her grandparents from this neighbor country to obtain her prosthesis. This little ginger girl stole our hearts with her energy and happiness that she gives even though she had a missing part of her body, her leg, because of a congenital malformation in her mother´s pregnancy.

Nevertheless, Amy can keep running to achieve her dreams with the help of a prosthesis given for free from Mahavir Kmina. But this was only possible with the help of YOU, dear donor. With your thoughtful donation we had the chance to give Amy her prosthetic leg.

Thanks to the team we create with you and Amy´s desire, she plays hide and seek without limping, because Amy is a such an energetic girl, that the only difficulty we had was to keep her still and seated in one spot to put her prosthesis on.  She really wants to run and conquer the world! She probably will with this new chance.

Amy and her family are back to their country and can´t wait to see Amy begin Kindergarten and start building her dreams. We feel so happy that we can contribute with children´s smiles.
