The Career Preparation event on February 3-4, 2024, can be considered a pivotal step towards equipping participants of the Youth Digital Acceleration (YDA) program to navigate the professional landscape, particularly within the realm of technology. Throughout this series of activities, attendees were provided with hands-on training and guidance from seasoned experts in their respective fields.

On February 3, 2024, participants received training on job interview techniques from an experienced speaker in job interviews. They were introduced to the concept of job interviews through a simulation of job interviews and received direct feedback from the interviewer. This provided an opportunity for participants to learn firsthand about expected behavior and how to answer questions effectively during the interview process.

The second session covered the Challenges and Career Opportunities in the IT Realm presented by Anton Suwoto, the IT General Manager of PT PAN Brothers Tbk.

In this session, the rapid development of IT from previous years to the future was explained. Participants were also given an overview of the challenges and career opportunities in the IT domain.

In the following session, participants were guided on utilizing the CareerLabs Platform to search for jobs in the IT industry. With the assistance of representatives from the platform, participants were given an understanding of how to use job search sites, create profile accounts, and strategies to optimize their accounts to easily find jobs in the technology industry.

The last session was a sharing session with YCAB Bootcamp alumni, where participants had the opportunity to learn from the direct experiences of alumni who have successfully entered the workforce in the IT industry. They shared experiences about the job search and interview process, as well as their work experiences in the IT industry. Through this session, participants gained valuable insights into what is expected and how to succeed in the technology industry.

Overall, the Career Preparation activities held on February 3-4, 2024, provided participants with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills, and insights needed to succeed in seeking and entering the workforce in the technology industry. This is an important initial

step in their career journey and is an integral part of YDA’s efforts to provide equal career opportunities for the younger generation of Indonesia.
