One donation twice the impact

By James Malinga | Project leader

Hi!
Thank you for your support to the Mountains of Hope Children's Ministries programs on GlobalGiving, because of your support, 855 children both boys and girls who had dropped out of school in Uganda have been supported to train in apprenticeship skills like cookery, hair styling, welding, tailoring among others and supported with start up tools so they can start their own businesses.

915 households of people living with HIV have been supported with income generating projects, enabled to access business trainings and encouraged to form a small savings and loans association to enable them boost their income.

460 households enabled to add value to theor agricultural products and are now able to compete on the international market.

95 female sex workers enabled to start own businesses and find market for the products such as soap making among others so as to get them out of sexual exploitation.

312 children both boys and girls enabled to access ART services in the health centers, their health is now good.

We want to continue supporting these communities, households and individuals so that they are self reliant.

Today, GlobalGiving's 2023 GivingTuesday campaign has begun! From now until 23:59:59 EST, eligible online donations to GlobalGiving nonprofit partners will earn a proportional share of the $1.2M Incentive Fund.

Our project of the year is enabling 500 households access booster grants so we can add some more capital to the businesses we encouraged them to start, in this am sure they will be self reliant, we are targeting 500 every year, this year we are raising $150,000 each family benefits from $300, so you can support a family today boost their family business so they can be able to take care of themselves in the near future.
