Happy Spring!
In 2019 Patient Assist VI served more patients than ever before, and 2020 has already continued to illustrate the need for assistance. Within the first two weeks of the new year, PAVI received 13 referrals! PAVI continues to receive referrals for patients impacted by the hurricanes of 2017. While much of the USVI is back to pre-storm levels, there are homes and places of work that are not. Our advocates continue to work tirelessly to obtain medications for our patients.
PAVI is now partnering with the Department of Health's Community Clinic at Schneider Regional Hospital to ensure patients are given the opportunity to learn about the program and receive the medications they desperately require. These community based partnerships are vital to the population PAVI serves and PAVI looks forward to additional outreach throughout the year.
