A Life-Changing Start: Mentee Spotlight

A Quarter of Growth and Connection
The first quarter of our new program year has been a whirlwind of activity and achievement. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve accomplished together:

Mentoring Phase Highlights

• Building Bonds: 22 hours of group meetings introduced mentees to their mentors and led to the formation of 1-on-1 mentorship pairs.
• Personal Growth: 368 hours of individual sessions encouraged teenage girls to explore their identities, strengths, and dreams. Through self-discovery sheets and interactive group activities, mentees made strides in self-knowledge.

Equipping Mentors

• Skill Building: 10 hours of initial training provided mentors with tools to guide and inspire.
• Shared Experiences: 16 hours of group meetings deepened connections between mentors and mentees, paving the way for meaningful relationships.

Skills Building in Action

• Practical Learning: 20 hours of group sessions empowered mentees with knowledge on scientific writing, creating impactful presentations, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and personal hygiene.
• Exploring Sustainability: A visit to the ATP Environmental Center in Margahovit connected mentees with Armenia’s rich biodiversity and the urgent need to protect endangered plant species.

Higher Education Empowerment

• Unlocking Potential: 6 hours of sessions uncovered keys to academic and professional success.
• Inspiration in Action: Meetings with prominent bloggers, singers, and actors provided mentees with motivation and insight into building impactful careers.

Friendships, Fun, and Connection

• Cross-Phase Unity: 12 hours of collaborative meetings brought Mentoring and Skills Development mentees together, fostering new friendships.
• Moments of Joy: 2 hours of entertainment sessions gave mentees the chance to bond and unwind.

By the Numbers

• Participants Engaged: Over 50 mentors and 130 mentees joined forces across activities.
