Tsovinar A. (Mentee)
These past three years with Nor Luyce have been some of the brightest, most unforgettable moments of my life. At first, I was just a participant, quietly observing. But little by little, something changed. I started finding my voice. I became more confident, more expressive, and better at connecting with others. I even learned to love myself - something I never thought possible before.
One turning point for me was the “Key to My Success” meetings, where I got to hear inspiring stories and advice from some of Armenia’s most accomplished individuals. These moments helped shape my path and showed me that giving up is never an option.
Today, I truly believe in myself and my future. I’ve made new friends who brighten my days, and I’ve grown in ways I never imagined. Nor Luyce didn't just guide me - it transformed me.
Over the past three months, Nor Luyce has continued to transform lives through its Mentoring, Skill-Building, and Higher Education phases. In the Mentoring Phase, 638 hours of one-on-one sessions helped mentees uncover their strengths, face inner fears, and build confidence. Group meetings like “All Problems Have a Solution” and “From a Dream to a Goal” encouraged reflection and goal-setting, while 47 mentor-mentee pairs proudly presented the results of their 11-month journey. Mentees also completed an advanced computer course, gaining skills in Word and PowerPoint. Mentors, in turn, received 12 hours of ongoing training to enhance their impact.
Recruitment for the upcoming program year was in full swing, resulting in 205 mentee applications and 118 mentor applications. From these, 50 new mentees and 33 new mentors were selected and began their initial training in July. The quarter culminated with a heartfelt certificate ceremony on July 8, marking the close of the Mentoring Phase and celebrating the achievements of mentors and mentees alike.
In the Skill-Building Phase, mentees participated in eight interactive sessions on topics such as leadership, innovation, emotional intelligence, and personal branding. They also made cognitive visits to universities and scholarship organizations. Meanwhile, mentees in the Higher Education Phase engaged in 14 hours of motivational and practical sessions, including talks with influential Armenian public figures and a workshop on networking to support their career goals.
Across all phases, over 135 mentees and 50 mentors engaged in group activities designed to build trust, boost motivation, and promote self-development. Six guest speakers led trainings that enriched both mentor and mentee experiences. Most notably, six of our mentees were accepted into higher education institutions - marking a significant milestone and underscoring Nor Luyce’s powerful role in shaping bright, empowered futures.
