By Amy M Baty-Herbert | Project Coordinator
Dear project supporters,
Thanks in part to your generous support four drums full of school supplies were shipped to Ghana. The teachers and children were very excited about the new school supplies and teaching aids. They couldn't wait to use them in their classrooms. The school supplies the students and teachers received will enhance the classroom-learning environment and empower learning.
Your support has truly made a difference for six schools in Ghana. By easing the financial burden of school, children will be more likely to be able to go to school. Children who complete their education will be able to break free from the vicious cycle of poverty.
We welcome your ongoing support to provide schools in Ghana with scholarships, school supplies, and uniforms. Your support will also provide microfinance loans to boost family income so families are less inclined to engage their kids in child labor.
We encourage you to start a monthly recurring donation here. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way. Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
Warm regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa team
