EXCITING-HAPPILY-JOYFUL GRADUATION DAY
OF IWACU KAZOZA SCHOOL STUDENTS
Forty-six (46) of the students of Iwacu Kazoza School that you have been supporting financially graduated on Friday, November 22, 2019.
This is the results of what our donors, friends and friends of friends have done through their financial support and prayers. We are all very grateful to each one of you, all who continue to support Iwacu Kazoza School so that we can continue to provide education to the underprivileged and orphaned children in Burundi, Africa.
As you may know, if you want to lead a promising life and experience the good things that the World has to offer, you certainly need to get educated. To get a great job, a good social reputation, benefit your community and nation are few of the many benefits of being an educated person in the today’s World.
On Friday morning, November 22, 2019, before the ceremony of the awarding of the diplomas begun, there was a soccer game between the Iwacu Kazoza School Football (Soccer) Team, against EEAC Stands for Jesus ”Team. The winner was awarded a prize of Two (2) goats and the loser was also awarded a prize of one (1) goat and the fourth goat was given to the teachers. The EEAC Stands for Jesus Students' Team won the game and was awarded two goats.
After the soccer game, then we started awarding the diplomas to the forty six (46) students. It was a great joy and laughter for the graduating students, their parents, those who attended the above mentioned graduation event, Iwacu Kazoza School’s Staff (teachers) and JRMD Administration Team:

We have just celebrated this graduation event when we are getting closer to celebrate Christmas and New Year 2020.
In Burundi, Christmas and New Year days, people expect 4 things to happen in their families and community: (1) Celebrate Jesus’ birth day (2) Worship and Thanks Giving to God, (3) Eat good food and drink, (4) and parents buy new clothing to their children and husbands to their wives.
These two celebrations are going to be celebrated when we haven’t yet paid our teachers and Administration Staff. The total salaries of October and soon paying teachers’ salaries of November and December 2019 is about $7,350. You can make our teachers smile and enjoy this Christmas and New Year Season, by making your donation to help us pay the salaries for October, November 2019 and December 2019.
Here is my message to the graduating students: Wherever they are and in whatever they do, they can be a new hope for their families, community and their nation. Learn to trust and follow their heart with patience and courage, and God will fulfill their biggest dreams.
Friends and Donors, thank you so much for helping us make this event happen for our students, school and community.
