I am very thankful to our donors and friends, and friends of friends who are making their donations to help JRMD provide education to 452 kids, schooling at Iwacu Kazoza School. If one person was to try do this work alone, it would be impossible. This is possible through partnership and joining hands together to build the society and the world we want that each one of us is longing to see and live in.
Because of your donations, the school was able to purchase a part of the students’ and teachers’ books. This enables Iwacu Kazoza School to continue provide a good education to those parents, leaders and business people of tomorrow. At the time I am writing this report,$12,845 has been raised and still need to raise $78,747 to cover the school budget for the school year 2013-2014.
Until our project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work. You'll know what your donation has helped fund, what accomplishments we have achieved and what our current needs are.

I take this opportunity to inform our donors that our project linked on GlobalGiving website is eligible to participate in Microsoft's matching campaign, "GivingTuesday", December 3rd, 2013: http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/providing-education-to-450-youths-in-ruhagarika/ . There will be $250,000 matching funds available from Microsoft on December 3rd.
The "GivingTuesday" campaign will begin at 9:01 a.m. Pacific Time/ noon Eastern Standard time, December 3, 2013 and will end December 4th at 8:59 a.m. PT and at 11:59 a.m. ET, or whenever matching funds run out. Matching is applied at 100% for every $1 up to $1,000 per donor per project.
Only online donations (credit card or PayPal) are eligible for matching . Donations made by gift card, check, or text-to-give are not eligible for matching. We encourage our donors and friends of JRMD/YRWD to get donations in early because matching funds are likely to run out before the end of the matching period.
