IWACU KAZOZA SCHOOL IS A NEW HOPE FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW’S GENERATION

Providing education and life skills will save the lives of thousands of orphans, street children and children from needy families in Cibitoke, who could not have access to education without your donation and donations from friends and friends of friends.

With your donations, through GlobalGiving, Iwacu Kazoza School is now reintegrating and providing education to hundreds of children, including orphans and street children in a NEW LIFE, NEW FAMILY, NEW SOCIETY and give them an opportunity to have right to education. It isa NEW HOPE FOR TODAY and TOMORROW’S GENERATION.

Mr. Leonard Nijimbere is a leader of Ruhagarika (chief) village, he said: “ What privilege to have this school near by and within our community, in which our children can have access to education without traveling far away, as it used to be before”!

I am very thankful to our donors and friends, and friends of friends who are making their donations to help JRMD continue provide education to  452 kids, schooling at Iwacu Kazoza School. If one person was to try do this work alone, it would be impossible. This is only possible by joining hands together to build the society and the world we want that each one of us is longing to belong and live in.

Because of your donations, the school has been able to purchase a part of  the students and teachers’ books, pay a part of teachers’s salaries, complete the construction of 16 latrines, roof 2 additional classrooms and continue providing education to 452 kids of Ruhagarika village and surrounding areas, during this school year 2013-2014, as witnessed by these pictures. To finish the construction of these 2 additional classrooms, we still need $2,825 to concrete, pave and smooth classrooms with cement, smoothing walls inside classrooms, blackboards, putting Windows, doors and paying labor.

At the time I am writing this report,$29,170 has been raised, donated by 205 and still need to raise $62,622, to cover the school budget for  the school year 2013-2014.

Until our project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work. You'll know what your donation has helped fund, what accomplishments we have achieved and what our current needs are.

I know the economy is tough, so thank you so much  for continuing to invest your hard-earned money on our cause. Please consider telling your friends and family about Wednesday, February 12th matching donations day. Donations made through GlobalGiving on February 12th will be matched at 30% for up to $1,000 per donor and per project .
