Care for moms at local hospital

By Liske Kock | Administrator

As the pandemic continues, there is ever increasing need amongst the poor. Our government hospitals in particular have been under immense strain. Last year we were able to supply 150 mattresses and blankets to our local government hospital's maternity ward. Our next project is to put together 100 parcels for new moms at this hospital which will hopefully go out in the next two months.

The maternity ward at Dora Nginza Hospital sees 150 women pass through it's doors every 3 days. Many come from extreme poverty and difficult circumstances and usually leave the hospital with nothing for their babies.
