We are incredibly proud to share that Love Story has been awarded The Herald Citizen of the Year in the Community Category, the highest accolade in our region, and a deeply respected award that has been honouring changemakers in our city for decades.
To be recognised in this way is a true honour. More than just a celebration of our team’s hard work, this award is a testament to the power of partnership and to what can be achieved when communities, volunteers, donors, corporates, schools, and NPOs come together with a shared vision.
Through collaborations with partners, as well as committed individuals and institutions, we’ve been able to share knowledge, pool resources, and multiply our impact. It is this collective effort that has led to such meaningful outcomes and ultimately, to this recognition.
This award belongs to all of you who have supported us along the way. Your belief in our mission has made this possible.
Winning The Herald Citizen of the Year inspires us to keep going, to dream even bigger, and to deepen our commitment to making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. We are energised to do even more for the people, the places, and the purpose we care so deeply about.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this journey with us.
With gratitude,
The Love Story Team
