Helping parents
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing food to hungry and malnourished children. This reporting period we are happy to inform you that we are scaling-up our food security via vegetable gardening initiative. This is designed to provide food supply locally to families with malnourished children. We have proven time and again that vegetable gardening is an effective tool towards providing for the food needs of poor beneficiaries. We are especially targeting young parents who are small-scale farmers or those cultivating less than a hectare of land. We were able to initially support with vegetable seeds and small farming tools a total of 175 families and we hope to increase our beneficiaries as months go on. Hoping that you will continue to support this important project. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre

support during disaster
Dear Friend,
Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing food to hungry and malnourished children. This time around we are focusing our support to children affected by the recent Super Typhoon Odette. The typhoon has brought misery to a lot of poor communities and the recovery will take a long time. The problem with this type of natural disaster is that there seem to be some type of donor fatigue and support from outside is minimal. People are getting used to severe changes in climate and we are indeed facing difficult times ahead. During this reporting period we are supporting the repair of broken shelter as well as providing for the start of vegetable gardening activities in 3 pilot village. We hope to stay here to support villagers for at least 2 years. We request that you help us again. Please also inform your friends about our work. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre

Organic fertilizer training
Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your kindness and generosity in supporting our initiative providing food to hungry and malnourished children. Despite our difficulties caused by the problem of the coronavirus pandemic affecting even the remotest villages, we are able to smoothly implement this initiative. This reporting period, thanks also to local supporters who provided generous assistance, we are able to implement a modest training activity focusing on improving food productivity in the farms of marginal artisans and farmers. The training is on organic fertilizer formulation using local materials that can be found in the farm. We are able to train 73 farmers in this manner. The training was done in our training center and lasted for 2 days. Again thank you so much for your generous support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
