Providing Food to Hungry and Malnourished Children

Dear Friend,

Greetings and thank you very much for your kindness and generosity in supporting our initiative providing food to hungry and malnourished children. Despite our difficulties caused by the problem of the coronavirus pandemic affecting even the remotest villages, we are able to smoothly implement this initiative. This reporting period, thanks also to local supporters who provided generous assistance, we are able to implement a modest training activity focusing on improving food productivity in the farms of marginal artisans and farmers. The training is on organic fertilizer formulation using local materials that can be found in the farm. We are able to train 73 farmers in this manner. The training was done in our training center and lasted for 2 days. Again thank you so much for your generous support.

Dear Friend,

Greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing food to hungry and malnourished children. With the coronavirus pandemic affecting the villages here, many hungry and malnourished children are added to the already long list. The need to provide food is urgent and crucial for their survival. This reporting period thanks to the help of generous friends and benefactors, we are able to provide much-needed food to 350 indigent families. Our food packs comprise rice, sugar, dried fish, noodles and canned goods. We also provided packets of vegetable seeds that our beneficiaries can grow in their own localities. The provision of vegetable seeds help ensure the availability of food in the household. The micro-nutrients in vegetables help also in providing nutrition to them since studies show that the Filipino diet lacks micro nutrients.
