Clean Water for Mulu Maternity Center

We are thrilled to share a major step forward in our project: thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have officially begun excavation for a potable water well at the Mulu Maternity Center.

Access to clean water is not just important—it is essential for the center to function. It currently operates with only a single water tank, which is far from enough to meet the basic hygiene and sanitation needs of maternity care.

This new well will provide safe, reliable water for childbirth, surgeries, and medical treatments—ensuring that mothers and newborns receive care in the safest conditions possible. It will also benefit the newly built daycare center on-site, where children are cared for while their mothers are hospitalized. Thanks to this project, these children, too, will have access to clean water.

We are deeply grateful to every donor who has made this first phase possible. Your continued help brings us closer to ensuring that no mother or child has to go without clean water.
