We’re excited to announce that the new water well at Mulu Maternity Center is up and running! After facing frequent water shortages and relying on costly deliveries, the discovery of an aquifer on-site has changed everything.
Though water was deeper than expected—22 meters instead of 10—a high-powered pump now ensures a steady supply. The water is currently used for sanitation, and potability tests are underway to explore its use for drinking.
This achievement marks a transformational improvement in hygiene and safety at Mulu Maternity Center. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported this journey. Your contributions have made it possible for the center to have a constant, reliable source of water, ensuring better care for mothers, babies, and children.
We still need your support to continue improving water access and health conditions for mothers and children.
Thank you to all who have made this possible!
