February is the month of love! All of us can give and receive love in simple and meaningful ways; whether it is with a partner, family, friend, or a person in need.
Make your Valentine's Day celebration more special by doing random acts of kindness, participating in charitable activities, or sharing gifts that give back to the community.
Donating to KalyenDeria Mobile Soup Kitchen would be a sweet surprise for us and our street children beneficiaries during this Valentine's Day. You may consider donating to our KalyenDeria Mobile Soup Kitchen wherein we prepare nutrititious meals to 500 street children and youth under our program in Metro Manila.
As a kickoff of the year 2023, Childhope Philippines and its volunteers has distributed a total of 1,290 nutritios meals to street children and youth under our program for the whole month of January.
The meal distribution was done in coordination with street educators and parent leaders, who facilitated the gathering of children in the area. The distribution was also made possible through the efforts of our volunteers who went out of their way to come up with creative ways to reach out to these children who are in need of help.
We want to thank everyone who contributed towards this project including all those who donated food items such as rice, noodles, canned goods and other forms of foodstuffs which will be used for this program. We also want to extend our gratitude to those who helped distribute these items throughout Metro Manila region including Caloocan City, Manila City, and Pasay City among others where most street children live. We are also very thankful for those who donated money and other forms of support which will be used to help us sustain this project.
Your efforts to pass love forward can make a positive impact on street children's lives this Valentine's Day and beyond.
