At DAKTARI, we believe that environmental change starts with education—and our Eco Club program is a perfect example of how young people can become passionate protectors of nature.
Each week, we visit local secondary schools to run interactive Eco Club sessions with Grade 9 learners. Through games, discussions, and hands-on activities, students explore important topics such as pollution, climate change, local wildlife, recycling, and sustainable living. We encourage them to think critically, speak up, and reflect on how they can make a difference in their own communities.
But Eco Club is more than just learning—it's about building confidence, leadership, and pride. That’s why every program ends with a special graduation ceremony. We invite parents, teachers, and community members to join us in celebrating the students’ achievements. The young participants receive certificates and sometimes small prizes, but most importantly, they have the chance to stand in front of an audience and proudly share what they've learned.
These moments are powerful. They show each child that their voice matters—and that they are capable of being leaders for a better, greener future.
Thank you for supporting this journey. With your help, we continue to grow the next generation of environmental stewards, one lesson at a time.
With gratitude,
The DAKTARI Team
