Facilitating Action for Community Empowerment (FACE) has successfully rehabilitated 20 boreholes in Longechuk County, Upper Nile State in South Sudan with funding from Repaid Relief funds. This initiative aims to provide clean drinking water to returnees and refugees from the crises in Sudan and Ethiopia. The project has reached 1,123 beneficiaries. However, there are ongoing challenges in aiding new arrivals fleeing the war in Sudan. With the reduction in humanitarian budgets, FACE anticipates significant difficulties for the state's population and other needy areas in accessing clean water and food. Consequently, FACE is seeking support to assist these vulnerable communities urgently.
