By Nepal Youth Foundation | Project Leader
Between January and March 2023, your generosity helped Ankur Counseling Center conduct 397 counseling sessions (individual and group) for children and youth in Nepal! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for all your support.
These counseling sessions supported children from Olgapuri Children’s Villlage (NYF’s children’s home) as well as kids from other children’s homes. It also supported students in our scholarship program, trainees in our vocational education program, women living with HIV & AIDS, and other community clients. As always, the counseling sessions used age-appropriate psychological interventions such as counseling skills, sand play therapy, expressive art technique, clay work, story-telling, cognitive behavior techniques, and non-directive play therapies. One major highlight was the annual Psychological Care Camp for kids at Olgapuri Children’s Village, which took place during their school vacation.
Thank you for helping children in our programs grow and develop into empowered, creative, empathetic adults. Each transformation opens new possibilities for children, families, and communities. We are so grateful that your #LoveWorks!
