As of May 11, 2024, our fund is proud to support 8,841 children who have been deeply affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. Every day, we welcome 10-20 new children into our programs, providing them with vital support and resources.
Our team of 25 dedicated psychologists has conducted consultations for 12,903 Children of Heroes and their guardians. Additionally, 1,628 children have participated in various forms of art therapy, recognizing the importance of addressing psychological well-being in the healing process after severe war trauma. The tireless efforts of our professionals have made a significant difference in the lives of our children and caregivers.
Inspiring Story
Meet Denis, a young boy who endured the horrors of war in the city of Bucha. Following the loss of his father and witnessing the destruction of his mother's workplace, Denis struggled with profound grief and trauma. The child took his father's death hard, refused to go to his funeral, and could not talk about him. Denis's mother is still going through a difficult period, however, they both found solace in our program.
Thanks to the generous support of donors like you, Denis and his mother received the material and psychological assistance they desperately needed. With ongoing counseling and support from our compassionate psychologists, Denis began to heal. Today, he is thriving, a testament to the transformative power of psychological aid.
Denis's story is just one example of the countless lives touched by our project. Your continued support is vital in ensuring the mental recovery of our families and providing hope for a brighter future. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of Ukraine's war orphans and their caregivers.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion. With your help, we can continue to provide essential support to those who need it most.
Sincerely,
Marharyta
