Thank you for your support! With your financial contributions we can make 2013 a banner year in the fight to eliminate the market for puppy mills. To support our groundbreaking Finding Fido program, the CFHS is launching the Choose Adoption campaign. This national campaign will decrease euthanasia rates and diminish the demand for animals inhumanely raised in puppy and kitten mills.
The identifying marker of this campaign will be a branded teal ribbon and will elevate the concept of pet adoption by identifying an animal and/or its human companion as being associated with the pet adoption community. The ribbon could take many forms: as a cloth ribbon to attach to an animal’s collar, leash or clothing, as a magnet to apply to vehicles and/or as a printed collar tag.
As we further develop this campaign to end puppy mills across Canada, you'll see more and more information about where the ribbons will be available and what else you can do to support our work in shutting down puppy mills.
Thank you again for your passion and support. For more information about the Choose Adoption campaign, visit: www.FindingFido.ca
