Purpose built school for Quality education,

Dear Changemakers,

I am writing to update you on the progress of Dosti Onyx School’s (DOS) “Purpose-built school for quality education” project. Despite facing financial constraints and not receiving additional funding since our last report, our dedication to providing quality education remains intact. Here, I outline our recent efforts, challenges, and aspirations for the future.

The DOS continues to operate in a rented building where dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to nurture young minds. I am pleased to report an increase in parental trust, reflected in the enrollment of 27 new students this academic session, comprising 21 boys and 6 girls. This growth highlights school’s commitment to inclusivity and quality education.

While DOS is committed to mission, it faces significant challenges, including:

Lack of spacious and well-furnished classrooms

Increasing costs of energy and rent

Playground

Labs

Our vision is to build a purpose-based school that transforms lives. With a total of 54 girls enrolled, the school urgently need to create a safe and welcoming space with separate facilities to ensure their comfort.

The school currently serves as a community hub, offering various activities under one roof. These include vocational training and medical camps, fostering a holistic approach to community development.

To realize this vision, the school requires $75,000 for the project. So far, we have raised $510. I firmly believe that education is the best investment we can make for the future. Now is the time to invest in this noble cause.
