Dear Donor,
we hope you are doing well! It's time again for an update from our Project at the Qala-e-Jangi Girls school. Read here what has been going on over the last few weeks:
Due to the low sub-zero temperatures in Afghanistan, construction work on some projects in Afghanistan had to be paused for a few months. This pause is common in the north of the country and was already taken into account in the project planning.
The local partner organization OASE used the time to equip rooms that had already been completed and to hold numerous meetings, training sessions and workshops. For example, the shell of the building has been completed and the final work on the interior and sanitary facilities will be carried out in the coming weeks as construction work resumes. Apart from that, the classrooms, science laboratory, library and administration rooms have already been equipped with furniture. To ensure that the teachers are familiar with the new equipment, they received further training in science in March.
Thank you so much for your support so far! It is only thanks to donors like you that we can successfully implement projects like these.
If you like, you are welcome to tell those around you about our association and our work.
All the best,
Celine
