Bridging Inequality Through Qurban

By Nur Abdullah | Project Staff

In remote communities across Indonesia, poverty and food insecurity prevent many families from fully participating in Eid celebrations. This campaign bridges inequality by delivering high-quality Qurban meat to elderly individuals, children, widows, and low-income households—restoring dignity, nutrition, and inclusion where it is needed most.

The Inequality We Address

While Eid al-Adha is a time of generosity and shared meals, millions of vulnerable Indonesians remain excluded due to economic hardship. Rising food prices, unstable rural livelihoods, and geographic isolation make protein inaccessible for many families.

For some, meat is consumed only once a year—if at all.

Celebration becomes a reminder of inequality when families cannot participate with dignity.

Our Response

Through this campaign, we aim to:

  • Distribute 500 quality sheep/goats

  • Reach 5,000+ vulnerable beneficiaries

  • Prioritize elderly individuals, orphaned children, widows, and low-income households

  • Operate in remote and underserved rural areas

We ensure:

  • Ethical livestock sourcing from small-scale local farmers

  • Hygienic slaughtering and transparent distribution

  • Community-based beneficiary selection

  • Accountability and reporting to donors

By sourcing livestock locally, the program also strengthens rural economies—creating a dual impact: nutrition support and livelihood empowerment.

Impact

Improved access to protein for vulnerable families
Reduced inequality in celebration and participation
Strengthened dignity and social inclusion
Economic circulation within rural communities

Qurban is not only an act of sacrifice.
It is an act of equity.
It is a bridge between abundance and need.

Call to Action

This Eid al-Adha 2026, help bridge the gap.

Stand for dignity.
Stand for fairness.
Stand for families who deserve to celebrate with hope.

Join us in bridging inequality through Qurban.
