Thank you for your ongoing support for this project. Our project aims to continuously improve the collaboration of local communities in improving water sanitation and management. We are able to do this thanks to your fantastic support.
Since inception, we've increased water storage in many villages across Fiji. For example, in Dawasamu District, we've installed over a dozen rainwater harvesting systems.
We assess village populations against existing water availability and storage capacity to identify deficits. After installing rainwater systems, we work in collaboration with the local community to educate on sanitation and hygiene practices.
Education and community involvement are crucial for project success. We've developed educational materials distributed after tank installation. These resources emphasize the importance of tank maintenance and treatment, ensuring safe water for years to come.
Water harvesting is vital for communities, and your support can help expand the number of installed tanks and maintain existing ones, benefiting many communities.
We look forward to updating you on our progress and thank you for your contributions.
