RASA has empowered indivuals over the past 27 years.providing education and training in Life skills iABSOLUTELY FREE OF COST.
As a part of making the Indian Theatre Arts enable and enrich the lives of indivudals , RASA supports individuals with special needs by provididng Life skills training in its various learning centres. and by ensuring that good quality transport is available for the children with various physical and mental challenges to and from their homes to the training centers.
If this facility was not available many of the individuals will be unable to come in for their daily inputs . Take the example of Vidya. she is a 48 year old woman with mental illness and is a recovering schizophrenic. She lives near one of the training centres with her dad who is 85 years old. she would not be able to come out of her home and experience life. Her father would be unable to send her safely to and from our training centre.
This is only one of the few indivudals who benefit from our services on a daily basis.
We would like to thank our donors who have contributed towards getting a new comfortable van for the use of these very special individuals who not only have mental but also physical challenges. they deserve safe and comfortable transport and this will also ensure that they come in regularly. We have a invoice for a van which can provide the comfort and care that these special individuals richly deserve.
We have so far received 25$ towards the same and need the remaining amount to get a van.
