Dear Supporters of RASA

Its summer time and the heat in Chennai has to be experienced to be believed and it is of course time for a summer break.

Our Rasa- Centre for Holistic Education through Theatre Arts - working on the inclusion and empowerment of the differently able - is closed for a short summer break. The break is

for individuals with special needs who need to rest and recuperate till such time the weather is more

bearable in June.

The staff of course work, preparing the Individualized educational plan and Lesson plans using the

various theatre arts modalities. So that they are all set to take individuals with special needs through the course of next year .

With your support RASA has already procured a van which is very very helpful to many of our special children - providing them transport to and from RASA with comfort and safety .

“Dhanyavad” (thanks in Hindi, the official language of India) to our many patrons who continue to help us.

At the next level of this project , we hope to reach our next goal of buying a vehicle which is wheelchair friendly.. If we do this, it will be one of a kind in Chennai and help us help many .
