Pakistan has an alarming rate of 27 million men, women, and children who are reported to have disabilities. One of the cities that hosts the largest number of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) is Sujawal which also happens to be one of the poorest districts in Sindh. These PWDs are part of one of the most marginalized communities in Pakistan, and they face restrictions and barriers to education, employment, and basic involvement in society.
In the months of April and May, we were able to provide 150 ration bags to PWDs and their families. These ration bags equipped them with staple items and cooking essentials for months to come ahead.
It is through your generous contributions that we had the chance to help one of the most disenfranchised communities in Pakistan. One beneficiary indirectly links us to atleast 5 others and we are able to impact not just 150 lives, but around 400 lives.
It is your unwavering support that has allowed us to come as far as we have today. We thank you for your continued support and hope that together, we can make a difference in more lives.
