Although the pandemic might be over, the country’s economy is still reeling from its aftereffects. In light of the persisting volatile economic conditions wherein even people without disabilities are struggling to make ends meet, providing immediate relief to persons with disabilities and their family becomes a matter of utmost urgency since they have been historically marginalized from educational and economic opportunities.
The PWDs residing in areas like Sujawal – one of the poorest districts in Sindh – are the ones who suffer the most because of the deteriorating economic conditions and rising inflation. Due to persisting food insecurity in rural Sindh - wherein people’s access to proper nutrition is already dubious - for PWDs, their very survival is on the line in the present circumstances.
In these dire times, your support becomes more crucial than ever. Your donations can have a profound impact on the lives of these PWDs whose path to empowerment is obstructed by concerns for survival.
We hope that you can continue to support us in the future so that we may be able to provide rations for PWDs whose sustenance depends on them.
