North Syria continues to face severe humanitarian challenges, with thousands of families struggling to secure basic food due to displacement, poverty, and rising prices. In response to these difficult conditions, Saed Charity implemented a meat distribution project aimed at providing high-value nutrition to the most vulnerable families living in camps and rural areas.
The project included the slaughtering and distribution of hundreds of portions of fresh meat, prioritizing families headed by women, households caring for elderly members, and families with persons with disabilities. Strict hygiene standards were applied throughout the process to ensure that the meat reached beneficiaries safely and in excellent condition.
This initiative provided families with an essential source of protein—something that has become scarce due to the ongoing economic crisis. Many beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, noting that the support helped them prepare nutritious meals and reduced some of their daily burdens.
Despite the positive impact, humanitarian needs in northern Syria remain immense, and food-support projects continue to play a crucial role in enhancing the food security of vulnerable families.
