Hello!
We are in a very exciting new phase of our project. Since purchasing the land and cottage adjacent to our school we have been working on renovating the beautiful old cottage and finalising architect plans.
Planning permission for the expansion of our school building has been submitted and we expect to confirm at the end of this month.
It has been a busy summer even with school closed as we have been working on project details behind the scenes. A dedicated fundraising page specific to the new build will be launched shortly.
In the meantime we are getting ready for the return to school in September with 18 new students and 2 new staff members, bringing our enrolments to 88 students and our staff team to 11 members.
Together with the growing number of democratic schools in Ireland we are championing the cause of self directed education and highlighting the need for a variety of educational models to suit all children's learning needs.
