This project will rebuild 100 homes destroyed or severely damaged by flooding in Ghana to help vulnerable families recover from disaster and regain safe shelter. Flood disasters continue to leave many families homeless and exposed to unsafe living conditions, especially in low-income and flood-prone communities. This project will provide housing reconstruction support to help affected families restore stability, dignity, and security.
Flooding frequently destroys homes and property across many parts of Ghana, displacing families and worsening poverty. Many flood victims lose their shelter, household belongings, and sources of livelihood, leaving them vulnerable to disease, insecurity, and prolonged hardship. Low-income families often lack the financial resources to rebuild their homes after disasters.
This project will support the rebuilding and repair of 100 flood-damaged homes for vulnerable families. Assistance will include construction materials, basic rebuilding support, and safer housing improvements to help families return to stable living conditions after floods.
The project will help restore safe housing, improve disaster recovery, and strengthen resilience among flood-affected communities. Families will regain stable shelter and better protection from future environmental risks. Over time, the project will support community recovery and improve living conditions for vulnerable households in Ghana.
