Every child deserves a safe, inspiring place to learn. Yet, 360 children at a rural Suleja LGA school face collapsing classrooms and no toilets. Our project will rebuild three classrooms and construct six gender-separated toilets with handwashing stations, transforming daily school life and giving students the dignity, safety, and focus they deserve.
Unsafe classrooms and poor sanitation keep children out of school and at risk of disease. Girls are especially vulnerable during menstruation without toilets. By acting now, we can prevent absenteeism, reduce disease, and empower students with a secure learning environment that supports both education and wellbeing.
We will demolish and rebuild three durable classrooms with proper lighting and ventilation. A block of six toilets, including handwashing stations, will be constructed for boys and girls. The local community will participate, ensuring ownership and sustainability while giving children a safe, healthy, and inspiring place to learn every day.
Safe classrooms and toilets will boost enrollment and attendance by 25%, reduce diarrheal diseases by over 50%, and keep children in school. This project directly benefits 360 current pupils and creates a lasting, secure learning environment for generations to come, ensuring that every child can thrive with dignity, health, and opportunity.
