GOOD NEWS!

Our community consultations, site analysis (including soil testing and environmental studies), and architectural design phase has officially come to an end. We are thrilled to say that we are now ready to move forward to CONSTRUCTION.

Our brand-new school will be a reality in the near future!

In order to maintain Aura Freedom's organizational mandate of SUSTAINABLE and JUST development, all construction activities will be carried out by local companies and trained individuals from the surrounding area who have been vetted by our partners

Our partners, Architects Without Borders (ASF NEPAL) are assisting us in all building requirements and procedures. In order to move forward now, Aura Freedom and partners will be putting the construction of the school up for bidding. Meaning, local construction and building companies can bid on the project so that we can choose from the best companies for the best value.

This is a HUGE step forward for this project, bringing a finished, SAFE and EQUITABLE school that much closer to our 250+ students who are currently attending classes in temporary metal structures (see photo below).

 WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP!

We are still far from obtaining our original goal of $50,000.00. With your help, we can move forward at a faster pace. Any and all donations are crucial now, as construction requires immediate, up-front funds.

We thank you for your support. We are ALL in this together!
