We are thrilled to report that the Shree Bhumimata school is almost complete!
Our engineering team and construction crews are putting the finishing touches on the school including the following:
-painting/finishes
-construction site clean-up
-ordering and distribution of furniture
This will be followed by safety audits and other community meetings regarding the future of the school.
As we all know, education can reduce poverty, advance gender equity and decrease violence and oppression against women and girls.The 250+ children of the Shree Bhumimata School will now have a better opportunity of living a life of dignity, health and inclusiveness and its girls will have less of a chance of being married off as children or becoming victims of human trafficking.All because of a school. All because of YOU.This is NOT our final report! We look forward to sending you photos of the completed school and its surrounding community in the coming months. We thank all of you for sticking with us through this journey!
