The project is supporting four young people who were convicted for minor crimes. It is a Diversion Program that is being implemented in collaboration with the Big Bend Magistrate Court and the Social Welfare Department in Big Bend, in the Lubombo Region of Eswatini. In January 2025, the young people who were convicted for housebreaking and theft were released to the care of their parents and then enrolled to the Super Buddies Club’s life skills education to be equipped with behavior-change life skills. Peace-building conferences have been done with the people they had wronged so that they can return the goods they had stolen. A program has enrollled the beneficiaries for training for vocational and entrepreneurship skills so that they can eventually start and run income generation projects.
Funding is still required to reach the 56 who are already serving sentences so that they can also be enrolled in the program. Other funding needs include:
