Dear Friends,
We hope you’re having a wonderful start to the new year.
This past December was different in Valencia. Christmas felt very different. The streets smelt of mud. Nevertheless, we did not lose the hope that Christmas always brings, and our work continued nonstop.
During December, our focus was primarily on continuing to distribute household electrical appliances and equipment, not only to the elderly, as in the first days, but also to families who have lost their source of income or have had their homes and vehicles completely damaged.
In the last few weeks, we have purchased various household electrical appliances and equipment for 108 families from different affected towns, such as Algemesí and Catarroja. This has impacted approximately 320 people, in addition to the thousands of beneficiaries of the actions we carried out in November.
This aid is crucial, as most of the people affected have not yet received any of their insurance, and some either lacked insurance or did not have full coverage. The number of people affected was very large, over 120,000 individuals.
We are immensely thankful for your kindness and we are deeply moved to have received such generous support during these difficult times. We look forward to making an even greater impact together in 2025.
Thank you,
Until next time,
